Position Summary:

The Executive Assistant, Digital Content (EA, DC) will work as part of the Digital Content team, providing support to CFR’s Vice President and Chief Digital Content Officer (VP, CDCO) and assisting with greater departmental administrative tasks and priorities.
The EA, DC will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the digital department, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects aligned with the digital strategy. The EA, DC will serve as a main point of contact for Council counterparts and outside partners to the Digital Content department, routing inquiries and updates to the appropriate team members.

The EA, DC will be required to be fully onsite to assist the VP, CDCO with significant projects. This position requires a high level of organization, proactivity, and attention to detail.

The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to)::

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the VP, CDCO, including calendar management, meeting preparation, correspondence, and travel coordination
  • Track departmental expenses, managing the VP, CDCO’s corporate credit card, and coordinating invoice payments and reimbursements
  • Act as a point of contact for the Digital Content department, handling incoming requests from internal and external stakeholders and directing them to the appropriate people; build important internal and external relationships important to facilitate departmental success
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication from/to the office of the VP, CDCO with leaders and staff across the organization
  • Draft and edit communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the VP, CDCO
  • Attend meetings with the VP, CDCO, and, when appropriate, and take notes for follow-up and/or circulation
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned by the VP, CDCO, which may include coordinating cross-departmental initiatives or assisting with high-priority tasks
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, marketing, international relations is preferred, but not required
  • An interest in foreign policy, international relations, and digital media
Related Skills & Other Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • The ability to meet demanding deadlines with a positive attitude and interact with members and the public in a professional manner
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools such as Airtable or similar, and other digital content platforms
  • Familiarity with overseeing budgets and tracking expenses
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • A team player with capacity to take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Related experience that required judgment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
