Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU CWR
Location: Edison, NJ (08818)
Hours: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), 3 days/week

Requirements: Weekends and holidays as scheduled

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PICU is responsible for providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients. This includes assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care, managing patient needs, and documenting according to standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Monitor and manage patient care.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practices.
  • Float to similar units as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related specialty.
  • Education: ASN required; BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licenses/Certifications: NJ RN license or multi-state compact license, BLS (AHA), PALS, Telemetry.

Skills:

  • Strong assessment, planning, and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
