Responsibilities include:
The Role Applied:The IT Analyst role is dedicated to providing customer-focused technical support for our numerous esports broadcasts. This position works closely with the Esports League Operations, Broadcast Production Management and the Technical Operations teams to support both on-site and remote event productions.
We are currently seeking IT talent experienced with fast-paced troubleshooting, event tech operations, and maintaining high levels of service in a broadcast environment.
Responsibilities:Support Player Facing On-Air production; Responds to, identify, and resolves emergent player and game incidents during broadcast.
Perform decisive troubleshooting during urgent higher stress situationsMaintain clear and timely communication with customers during incidents.
Maintain, inventory, and repair esports infrastructure/hardware; such as stage systems, internal software applications, and servers
Identifies and proposes opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies or systemic issues.
Produce documentation and routine reports to help solve and log show facing technology issues.
Provide supplementary support to adjacent tech operation teams during non-broadcast hours.
Work varied schedules, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Required Qualifications: (if there are Specific Game Requirements, they would be placed here)
3+ years of industry experience or an advanced degreeExtensive knowledge in supporting Windows OS systems and basic troubleshooting with LAN/WAN
Ability to provide constructive feedback around practices, tools, and methods related to production, broadcast and IT operations
Strong grasp of methodological troubleshooting; critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving
Experience following technical best practices within your team, including process reviews, implementation standards, tools improvements, and testing
Desired Qualifications:Experienced with automation and scripting working knowledge on how to take a manual task and execute it through an automated process
Understanding of IP based protocols and their effective use in both LAN and WAN environments
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals to identify likely problems and utilize management tools
Operations process knowledge such as runbooks and SOPs
Experience with system administration, monitoring, imaging, and asset management
Knowledge in PC performance in regards to game to streaming and common apps
