Job Summary: The Logistics and Warehousing Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations for our client's warehouses. This includes coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations Management:
- Coordinate the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is organized, accurately labeled, and stored according to company standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and routing of shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Communicate with suppliers and carriers to arrange for the timely delivery and pickup of goods.
- Address any issues related to shipments, such as delays or discrepancies, and work to resolve them promptly.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as order fulfillment rates and shipping accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding warehousing and logistics.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing shipping and inventory issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of any problems or complaints related to warehouse operations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed for the organization
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
