Network Administrator

We are in search of a Network Administrator to join our team located in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves the management of our network infrastructure and network hardware, primarily focusing on Google Suite, Help Desk, Apple, Google, and Microsoft platforms.
The Network Administrator will also be responsible for providing technical support to end users and staff as required. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain computer networks and computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Execute network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, drives, and hotfixes.
- Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Operate endpoint management system, ensuring all endpoints are maintained and secured.
- Monitor and test website performance to guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Provide technical support to end users and staff as needed.
- Participate in the management of all network security solutions.
- Assist in managing projects from conception to completion.
- Utilize skills in Google Suite, Apple iOS, Microsoft, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, and Unified Endpoint Management.
- Use a variety of network management systems and tools, including Simple Network Management Protocol, Desktop administration, and Database Administration. • Proficiency in Google Suite, Apple iOS, Microsoft, and Microsoft 365 Enterprise is required.
- Experience with Unified Endpoint Management is essential.
- Knowledge of Network management protocols, systems, and tools is necessary.
- Familiarity with Simple Network Management Protocol is required.
- Demonstrated experience in Desktop administration is essential.
- Database Administration skills are a must.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
