Description
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Concrete Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a keen eye for detail. As a Concrete Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive. Your role will be crucial in helping us secure new projects and ensure the profitability of our construction endeavors.
You will need to stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to provide the most accurate estimates possible. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a database of historical data to assist in future estimates. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be required to present your findings to clients and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities
Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Review and evaluate cost estimates.
Maintain a database of historical data for future estimates.
Stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
Present findings to clients and negotiate terms.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals.
Conduct site visits to gather information for estimates.
Ensure all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary.
Prepare reports and documentation for management review.
Participate in project planning meetings.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in the development of project budgets.
Review and analyze project costs post-completion.
Provide training and support to junior estimators.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Professional certification (e.g., AACE, ASPE) is a plus.
