Accounts Receivable Clerk - Randstad

Our ideal candidate brings a background in accounting, with at least one year of hands-on experience in accounts receivable. An associate degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but we value practical expertise just as much. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Fishbowl is a big plus.

• Maintain billing systems and software (e.g., Fishbowl, QuickBooks).
• Generate invoices, account statements, and financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies or inquiries.
• Handle clerical tasks such as billing, estimates, and monthly statements.
• Manage treasury functions, including bank deposits, wire payments, and credit card transactions.
• Analyze customer payment plans, history, and credit lines.
• Oversee collections for overdue accounts and liaise with external agencies if necessary.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
