Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk area.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls promptly and courteously
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Ensure security procedures are followed by issuing visitor badges and monitoring access control
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
