Construction Safety ManagerLocation: Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC Area

Tech USA is recruiting experienced Safety Managers and Safety Coordinators for leading sitework contractors, and commercial GCs in the Raleigh region.

There are multiple job opportunities available for the contractors we work for

some are traveling jobs, but most do not require travel.

Responsibilities:-Plans, directs and manages all Safety activities performed on multiple job sites with minimal direction from Corporate or Executive Management.-Conducts Health and Safety Training Programs and maintain all records as needed for the project.-Analyzes all processes, operations, and facilities for hazards and changes, or eliminates the hazards.-Assists with / maintains daily STAs (Safety Task Assignments) with all Company work crews on the project-Provides confined space training as necessary on the project-Investigates the causes of all accidents and injuries, and completes reports as required.

Uses Accidents / near misses, etc.

as training to help prevent future occurrences.-Inventories and maintains appropriate quantities of all necessary safety equipment and PPE.-Interacts/communicates with the Safety Director to recommend improvements to safety policies and procedures based on periodic site audits.

Coordinates with all functional areas within the company and project partners, to assure safety, security, physical and environmental issues + procedures are fully understood and executed.
