Job Description
The Quality Manager - Albany, NY will be responsible for the following:
ISO Certification & Compliance- Manage and maintain ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 (as applicable) certification, ensuring compliance with all standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, preparing documentation and corrective action plans.
- Develop and update Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, policies, and records.
- Work with regulatory bodies and customers to ensure product compliance with industry standards (e.g., FDA, CE, UL, RoHS, etc.).
- Establish and implement inspection, testing, and quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor non-conformance issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory specifications.
- Oversee supplier quality management, ensuring materials meet required standards.
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) programs using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track quality performance and drive accountability.
- Conduct training and coaching sessions for employees on quality best practices and process optimization.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Quality Manager - Albany, NY will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control processes.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and ERP systems.
