About job:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in event management and gain valuable hands-on experience. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will work closely with the event management team to coordinate various aspects of events from conception to execution.Your role will involve assisting in planning logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that events run smoothly and successfully.
Salary Range: $22.50 - $32.00 per hourJob: Full time
Location: Philadelphia, TX
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and activities
- Coordinate logistics, including venue setup and breakdown
- Maintain communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery
- Support the event management team in managing budgets and timelines
- Help in creating marketing materials and event programs
- Set up registration desks and assist attendees during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify improvements for future events
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events
- A passion for events and a desire to learn about the industry
