Marina Park Worker - Advanced (Seasonal)
Varied Shifts - 8-hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)
Seasonal, Hourly

Hourly Range: $13.00 - $16.25/hr

Job Summary

This position will work in the Mc Kinley Marina and offers various roles including Night Guard, Dockhand, as well as Office workers. This position will also have cash handling and general Park Worker duties.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and sales - Working at the Marina for varied shifts, helping guests for general marina duties. Selling boat launch permits, selling and pumping gas, and delivering ice to docks.
  • Cash Handling - Recording sales in point-of-sale (POS) system and following cash handling guidelines set forth by Milwaukee County.
  • General Park Operations - Maintaining parks, facilities and amenities including, but not limited to, push mowing, rental facility cleaning and prep, cleaning, shoveling, debris removal, weeding, pruning, planting, watering trees, and patrolling docks.
  • Administrative - Complete park permits, attendance reports, logs, cash reports, and deposit slips.
  • Ability to properly or safely operate: cash registers, credit card machines, pruners, weed eater computers and phones.
  • Ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, License/Certification and Experiences
  • Sixteen (16) years of age or older upon application required
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
