Job Title: Certified CT Technologist
Duties:
- Perform CT scans following established protocols and physician instructions to achieve accurate imaging results.
- Complete daily equipment calibration and troubleshooting for optimal performance.
- Administer and monitor contrast injections, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document procedures accurately, including patient records, quality checks, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Implement safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Verify and manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and dosage administration.
- Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely and effective imaging services.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of CT imaging techniques and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- Proficiency in radiation safety and ALARA practices.
Education:
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in NYS.
- ARRT certification in CT required.
- BLS certification.
Pay Range: Weekly: $2,100 - $2,900
