About the Women’s PACU Unit:
Our Women’s PACU Unit is equipped to provide preoperative care for patients undergoing the following types of surgery: Gynecological, Obstetrical, General, Genitourinary, Oncological, Orthopedic, and Plastic. The WPH PACU staffs are scheduled to provide flexible nursing care andservices for elective and emergent 24/7 (24 hours/7 days a week)

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nurse Operations Manager with unit management, including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, serving as a role model and mentor.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and team performance.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, compassion, and excellence.
- Address patient and family concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications:
🔹 Education:
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related graduate degree
🔹 Licensure/Certifications:
- Active RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (or ability to obtain)
🔹 Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience; women’s health or PACU experience preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus, but not required—this is a growth opportunity!
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- A passion for patient care and team development.
