Our well-respected non-profit client is seeking a detail-oriented, committed and interpersonal Receptionist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing first-level contact, offering administrative support, managing incoming communications, and ensuring the office's smooth and efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they are comfortable and well-assisted.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, and provide efficient routing and responses as needed.
- Provide accurate and helpful information to inquiries from the public and customers.
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, managing appointments, filing, handling and redirecting mail.
- Coordinate logistics of conference rooms including scheduling, setting up for meetings and event.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk and reception area.
- Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or relevant administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy environment.
- High school diploma; additional education or certifications in Office Administration are a plus.
- A genuine interest in and understanding of the non-profit sector will be advantageous.
