Title: Associate Director, US IT

Location: Boston or Dallas (3 days a week in office)

Within the framework of the Global IT organization objectives, oversees IT activities and operations of Galderma affiliates for the US region. Act as the central point of contact between the business functions of the US and the global IT organization and 3rd Parties

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide input to and lead implementation of IT strategy within the region, to drive priorities and deliver systems and applications development, hardware acquisition and integration requirements in line with overall business strategy, objectives, guidelines and policies.
  • Lead team of local US IT resources.
  • Lead and provide status on execution of local projects.
  • Manage and control vendors and supplier services are delivered as expected (SLAs).
  • Oversee end user support and proper escalation to Galderma IT support team or 3rd parties.
  • Communicate with local market management on corporate IT projects and assist corporate project teams in the local implementations where applicable.
  • Prepare performance reports for presentation to upper management.
  • Advise local market management on all IT-related matters to support sustainable growth of the company through optimal use of IT resources.
  • Facilitate sharing and use of IT best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong background in the IT field, with significant presence in Life Sciences industry will be a plus.
  • Very thorough and broad knowledge of and experience in information technology infrastructure, tools, and applications.
  • Strong Business Accumen and Relationship building
  • Background in ensuring close and effective collaboration with Galderma Global IT and IT suppliers.
  • Demonstrated project and portfolio management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management, problem-solving & negotiating skills.
  • Experience in Region ownership of IT security activities (training, awareness, policies, assessment, etc.).
