Office 365 Jr. Administrator
Complete Description:
Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microsoft Office 365 Junior Systems Administrator to support the Districts Microsoft 365environment. The Junior Administrator will assist with the daily management and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on providing responsive and effective end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to end-users for Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.Address and troubleshoot client-side issuesrelated to Microsoft 365, handling escalations from OctoHelps and working toresolve tickets efficiently.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senioradministrators and other relevant IT staff as needed.
Perform bulk activations, user setup, andlicense assignments within the Microsoft 365 admin center to support useronboarding and maintenance.
Collaborate with senior administrators and ITteam members to implement best practices, improve support processes, andenhance user experience.
Develop and deliver user training on Microsoft365 features, and create documentation to help end-users maximize the platforms capabilities.
Actively monitor and report on system performance and security, identifying potential issues proactively to ensure smooth operation.
Qualifications:
Well versed in Microsoft 365 administration.Experience with end-user support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services.
Experience with endpoint management usinb various MDM services, (Workspace One, Intune)Familiarity with Exchange Online.
Ability to follow structured migration and onboarding processes.
Strong communication skills for providing effective user training and support.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
SkillWorking knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite and account creation in AD and Entra ID
Experience with Azure AD Connect
Experience with managing Exchange and Active Directory permissions for user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes and public folders
Extensive experience with supporting MS Office suite 2010, 2013 and 2016 as well as Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
Troubleshooting Outlook client connectivity issues
Troubleshooting email delivery and email routing issues
Expert-level customer service and client-facing expertise with Office 365
Experience supporting and training end users on Outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016 and configure it for new O365 service
Expert knowledge in Outlook 2013, 2013, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online and O365 on-line services
Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience.
