Responsibilities:

  • Perform fundamental accounting tasks and manage routine bookkeeping tasks.
  • Provide apt management of accounts receivable and payable.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations, back-ups, and audits in line with finance protocols.
  • Carry out conflicts checks and set up new matters as needed.
  • Undertake client billing duties adhering to firm's policies.
  • Prepare, analyze and maintain financial reports and statistics.
  • Keep track of collection reports and perform collection tasks when necessary.
  • Liaise effectively with firm personnel, clients, suppliers, and other external parties.
  • Proficient in various software applications, including Word processing, document management, spreadsheet and database management, timekeeping, and forms programs.
  • Hands-on experience with certain financial aspects like accounting, invoice settlement, and receivables tracking. Prior history with a legal firm’s financial department would be a bonus.
  • Possess a degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in balancing multiple projects, showcasing top-tier time management and project handling abilities.
  • Possesses a keen eye for detail, exceptional orderliness, and the ability to set concrete work priorities.
  • Excellent capabilities in articulating thoughts and ideas, both in writing and verbally.
  • Comfortable with engaging with diverse individuals, showcasing extraordinary interpersonal dynamics.
  • Holds themselves to high standards of professionalism and work ethic.
  • Enjoy contributing to and working as part of a collaborative team.
