Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staffEstablish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and teams technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

- Ability and willingness to adhere to credentialing standards of the Financial Instruments, Structured Products and Real Estate, or FSR, team and PwC. This includes the completion of 4 parts of the CPA Exam.

- Demonstrates a thorough level of knowledge and/or proven record of success advising multinational, publicly-traded companies and private firms on a broad range of complex transactions involving technical accounting, financial reporting, operational policies, processes and procedures, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, with emphasis in the following areas: financial instruments including, income recognition and impairment; real estate and leasing; consolations; transfers and sales of financial instruments; fair value assessments, foreign currency matters, financing transactions and convertible securities, and/or derivatives and hedging; complex transactions in new and established products through an understanding of complex and/or new accounting and tax standards; evaluation of valuation estimates for financial and tax reporting; and, financial services and treasury-related industry challenges and insights to help clients navigate change within their organizations and seize opportunities.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success in financial reporting processes and technical accounting, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas: performing analyses, research, and documenting complex and emerging accounting, regulatory and financial reporting topics; and, writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management.
Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or proven success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; and, managing engagements, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.

The salary range for this position is: $82,000 - $204,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
