Payroll Manager - New York

Growing NEw York City organization is currently seeking a Payroll Manager. This role involves overseeing payroll operations, managing a small team, and utilizing various software platforms including ADP Workforce Now. This is a critical role ensuring that all payroll functions are executed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing
• Supervise a small team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Handle all matters related to payroll taxes
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Perform accounting functions and auditing related to payroll
• Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies.
• 7+ years of experience in a payroll management role
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
• Expertise in Payroll Taxes
• Ability to manage and supervise a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information responsibly
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
