Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support various HR processes at the unit or site level. This mid-level professional will utilize their experience and judgment to assist managers and employees in resolving HR-related issues and contribute to key processes in areas such as employee relations, staffing, benefits, training, compliance, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in resolving HR issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Workforce Planning: Participate in staffing activities, including establishing job requirements, candidate selection, and interviewing for various roles.
- Policy Interpretation: Counsel management on interpreting HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and compliance.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and deliver training courses using both internal and external resources. Serve as a certified trainer for approved programs.
- Strategic Projects: Lead or participate in projects to support the unit’s HR strategic and tactical goals.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards regarding safety, health, and other compliance requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate employee communications and support initiatives to enhance engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities- Facilitate and coordinate the company side military outreach program and hiring process
- Track candidate status in Share Point tracking table
- Provide monthly updates on military hiring programs
- Confirm and improve key steps in military hiring process
- Provide updates to the team on a QRTLY basis
- Manage relationships with key military VSO partners
- Coordinate military career fair support for these organizations
