Senior Strategic Financial Advisor

We are looking to immediately hire a Senior Advisor to join our growing team in the commercial sector. In this role, you will support, contribute and/or lead projects for customers in commercial markets, and public sector.
Description
Our client is embarking on an ambitious and exciting transformation journey with the hospital system it has acquired. We are searching for an experienced and strategic colleague to play a part time CFO-level strategic finance role working closely with our partner team, and our client's on the ground team to steward the transformation.
The Senior Advisor will work closely with our partner team and Sponsor to provide expert insight on transformation initiatives, collaborate on efforts to strengthen financial performance reporting and provide an experience based perspective on opportunities to create efficiencies.They will also collaborate with a full-time Senior Associate/early Manager who will lead day to day value capture and performance realization analytics.
Role is designed to be part time, with a 2-3 day/ week commitment for 12 months. Remote friendly with expectation to be on site at least once a month.
Requirements- Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in management consulting, strategic finance or operating financial leadership with material exposure to provider and/or payor operations
- Understanding of GAAP, healthcare accounting standards and financial regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with C-suite executives, board members and external stakeholders
- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to develop data-driven financial solutions
- Strong leadership and high level of integrity, accountability and ability to drive financial excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, actuarial science or a related field
- Preferred skills and qualifications
- Masters degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration and/or Certified Public Accountant or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional
- 5+ years of experience serving or working for payor organizations
- Experience in revenue cycle management or actuarial
- Salary & Compensation: $150K-$220K
