Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Pataskala, Ohio. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks including processing invoices and setting up vendor accounts, with a strong focus on confidentiality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of invoices on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Set up vendor accounts effectively and efficiently
• Verify bank information with a high level of confidentiality
• Utilize accounting software systems, specifically Netsuite, to maintain and manage data
• Conduct regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage account coding activities to ensure correct allocation of expenses
• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to improve efficiency
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) duties, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner
• Employ accrual accounting methods in financial activities
• Process Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions accurately and promptly. • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is necessary.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must.
• Proficiency in using Concur is vital.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is necessary.
• Auditing skills are crucial.
• Ability to use Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
