We are a seeking a Mainteance Supervisor out in the Eastern Suffolk area. You must have held a Mainteance Supervisor role in the past, you also have to have experience with hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities- Safety First - Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
- Ensure proper training of employees, assign and direct work overseeing day to day operations of the Maintenance Department.
- Manage team schedule and hours
- Oversee projects to completion including supervision of contractors to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and under budget.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams that focus on process improvement
- Assist in developing, evaluating, and editing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Assist with inspection and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Lead regular department meetings.
- Work with vendors on new technology.
- Evaluate downtime.
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements
- Coach, develop and discipline employees as necessary while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Promote a safe work environment, maintaining clean and organized workspaces in compliance with Berry standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
