Controller

This Controller must be well versed in QuickBooks and a CPA would be a plus. This position is responsible for all finance and accounting activities (e.g. A/R, A/P, audit, budgeting, reporting, purchasing, risk management and human resources

• Perform accounts receivables and payables
• Perform all banking functions including deposits, credit card processing & reconciliations
• Process payroll taxes
• Prepare general ledger entries
• Manage all accounting tasks, including cash and accrual basis financials
• Preparation of the annual budget
• Prepare documents needed for the 990 and work with the outside tax accountant
• Annual audit and work with outside auditor
• Prepare fixed assets
• Sales Tax reporting
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Month End Close
• Competence in managing General Ledger and Accrual Accounting
• Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation
• Experienced in Cash Management and Cash Forecasting
• Skilled in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Must be able to manage Monthly Sales Tax
• Experience in Risk Analysis is required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential
• Knowledge of Benefits Administration is required
• Must have experience in managing Payroll for under 100 Employees
