This is a center for Bariatric Surgery, total joints, cardiac, ENT, Ortho, GYN, Breast Stereotaxic program and a Level I Trauma Center caring for patients undergoing surgical procedures each year. This Hospital has 24 brand new operating rooms, 6 with hybrid capabilities, including robotic surgery.Advancements in spinal surgery including minimally invasive procedures along with Stealth guided navigation system for brain surgery and shunt placement are found in our ORs.
This Hospital's Operating Room, a collaborative team environment is embraced, and you will have the opportunity to learn complex procedures in all specialties.This Hospital also offers a clinical ladder for Surgical Technologists.
Assists surgical team during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Education Requirements:
Post High School Diploma ProgramGraduate of a Surgical Tech program- required.
Certification and Licensure
BLS Certification
Excellent Communications Skills
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
1+ to 2 years experience.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced Surgical Tech.They are open to Surg Techs who have experience in any specialty (seeking an experienced cardiac Surg Tech in addition to Surg Techs experienced in any other specialty).
Must have at least 1 full year of Surgical Tech experience to be considered.
Must have graduated from a Surgical Technology program, and if not certified, must meet state guidelines for exemption.
