Job Knowledge – “Understands and has experience with the work performed.”- Common Task Skills are: Floor Framing (wood), Wall Framing (wood), Roof Framing (wood ), Interior Trim & Casework, Exterior Siding & Trim, Hollow Metal Frames/Doors & Hardware, Metal Stud Framing, Concrete Forming, & Scaffold Erecting.
- Work according to and ensure others work according to the Project Blueprint specifications when applicable.
- Knowledge of common construction processes for residential and commercial properties, as well as the methods used to carry out these tasks.
- Knowledge of tools & equipment to be operated and used to perform common construction tasks.
- Specialization in specific task skills and desire to learn other common construction tasks.
- Actively participate in accident/incident investigations.
- Follow all OSHA, EPA and ODH policies and procedures
- Follow all company and site specific safety and health program policies.
- High School Diploma
- 4 years’ experience as an apprentice carpenter or carpenter
- OSHA 10
- Equipment training as it relates to carpenter job title
- Ability to work according to the Blueprint for our Culture
- Completion of the FAST Safety Training – level 2 within 90 days of hire
