The position calls for a diligent Payroll Administrator to manage crucial aspects of payroll processing. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire payroll process and all related activities for various payroll groups
  • Collaborate effectively with managers and Controllers on payroll items for each pay period
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment disbursement to employees
  • Audit timesheets, taxation, garnishment deductions, benefit, and 401k deductions to guarantee accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as a resource to other divisions who process payroll independently
  • Handle Verification of Employment requests and generate payroll reports to verify accuracy and compliance
  • Address employee queries related to deductions promptly and professionally
  • Research, analyze, and resolve all issues and discrepancies, reporting to management as needed
  • Register with tax agencies as needed, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of payroll data with various file feeds to identify and rectify discrepancies. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Payroll Administrator
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
  • Experience in using ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of Ceridian software
  • Ability to use Crystal Reports
  • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
  • Proficiency in About Time software
  • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Knowledge of Benefit Functions
