Customer Service Representative

We are on the lookout for a well-versed Customer Service Representative to become part of our Engineering team in New York. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with addressing customer inquiries, managing customer accounts, and ensuring the accurate processing of customer applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer queries and concerns effectively and accurately to ensure they feel valued and supported
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing an exceptional customer experience
- Utilizing various software, databases, and tools to ensure efficient service delivery
- Engaging in active listening with customers to confirm or clarify information and manage difficult situations when necessary
- Building meaningful relationships with customers based on trust and reliability
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures to uphold the company's integrity
- Participating in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and the position
- Making recommendations for products or services that may better suit customer needs to improve customer satisfaction
- Processing customer credit applications accurately and promptly
- Maintaining accurate customer credit records • Strong proficiency in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Experience in a call center customer service environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Ability to effectively manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, format, and edit documents efficiently.
- Experience with order entry systems, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to schedule appointments accurately and effectively, managing multiple calendars simultaneously.
