Senior EHS Specialist
Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Senior EHS Specialist to join our Mid-Atlantic team.
Position Responsibilities- Assists construction project teams by supporting subcontractor qualifications, Safety Plan development, Safety plan implementation, project compliance inspections, and project EHS regulatory guidance.
- Researches regulations and assists with construction site EHS compliance.
- Visits IPS work sites to assist in EHS compliance.
- Performs EHS compliance audits and inspections at IPS project sites.
- Records and report audit reports and assist with the implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide on-site EHS support for projects that require continuous oversight.
- Reviews and evaluates daily Job Safety Analysis developed by subcontractors.
- Assists with Safety metrics recording and reporting.
- Plans and attends meetings as requested and supports EHS department administrative functions.
- Demonstrates and advocates for safety and SOP requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical/vocational training preferably in Construction Safety or Engineering or a related field.
- 5- 10 years of construction safety experience with some pharmaceutical background in a senior capacity.
- Knowledge and experience with construction safety topics such as – Fall Protection, Trenching, and Shoring, Crane Lifts, Steel Erection, Hot Work, Confined Space, Emergency Plans, etc.
- Experience in pharmaceutical Design/Build/Validate processes.
- May involve travel to project locations for several days to several weeks.
- Exemplify safety values, policies, and procedures that all IPS employees are expected to follow.
