Technical Project Manager

Downtown Los Angeles (hybrid onsite 1x per week)

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the detail oriented services industry located in Los Angeles, California. As a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful implementation and completion of technical projects, involving management of cross-departmental initiatives, alignment of project goals with business objectives, and ensuring delivery within scope and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring appropriate timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and critical paths to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, managing their expectations and facilitating conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and business units.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any deviations from the initial plan.
  • Oversee the testing, deployment, and transition phases of the project to ensure a successful handoff to operations.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and dashboards to stakeholders and management.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project artifacts.
  • Stay updated about emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze project outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role within the detail-oriented Services industry
  • PMP Certification (must be active) is required)
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud Technologies is essential
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience in AB Testing to evaluate project outcomes
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies for project management
  • Knowledge of Budget Processes to manage project finances effectively
  • Experience in Change Management to guide successful project transitions
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience with HRIS Systems, particularly Workday HRIS, for human resource management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint for project collaboration
