Our client is currently looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to provide geotechnical investigations including site survey, design, construction documentation, special inspections, and construction administration for commercial and residential building structures.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provide geotechnical engineering, construction observation, and design assignments under the supervision of experienced engineering personnel.
- Travel to client sites domestically.
- Assist with processing field data, performing geotechnical analyses, report and drawing preparation, and assist in preparation of engineering proposals. Senior engineering professionals will direct and provide peer review of all work.
- Monitor contractor work and inspect properties.
- Proficiency with computerized modeling tools, including the ability to utilize CAD and /or GIS to develop model input is preferred.
