Marketing/Communications Project Manager

Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in office in Baltimore, MD This position is responsible for managing University Communications cross-department relationships to ensure the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness in all department deliverables.

The Accounts Manager will monitor and report progress for the collective team book of work, oversee the and maintain working and archival files within Asana project management system, and manage the production of timely progress and summary reports.

salary: $40 - $43 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships and project planning with University departments including, but not limited to Board of Trustees, Human Resources, Federal Strategy, Development and Alumni Relations.
  • Meet with University Communications colleagues and stakeholders throughout the school to identify goals, schedule/timing, and budget for projects.
  • Oversee management of project priorities and reporting for the University Communications team to ensure we are working most efficiently to prioritize work directly related to the school goals (objectives and key results) and managing expectations on work that needs to shift to accommodate for incoming deadline-driven high-value requests.
  • Identify potential issues or challenges to project completion and implement solutions to maintain the outlined goals.
  • Provide back-up support to University Communications leaders as needed to ensure continuity in support to our partners and projects.
  • Manage vendor-sourced reporting relationships and contracts including, but not limited to, Smartsheet project management tool.
  • Support communication to freelancers and resources needed when engaged in partnership with Marketing leadership team to maximize project effectiveness and efficiency
