Senior HVAC Engineer
Permanent Position for a Senior Engineer with 3+ years of experience in product development for heat pump systems, boilers, and other HVAC products. Relocation assistance is available. This position is located in Fayette County, GA (30 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport) in a beautiful community with top schools.
Required Skills:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in engineering design and product development with the following:
- heat pump water and space systems, boilers, air handler units, direct vent furnaces, vent-free connectors, and other space and water heating products.
- ASHRAE, NEEA, ANSI, CSA, DOE AHRI, Energy Start standards processes and testing methods.
- Mechanical systems product development and applications
- Solidworks or other CAD software
- Experience in developing new products - New Product Development or Stage-Gate Process.

responsibilities:
- Engineering, product design, and testing of new space and water heating products for production.
- Optimization of heat pump water and space heating systems and boilers for efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Calculate heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics designs.
- Work on cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance and certification requirements.
- Create and document technical data for assigned projects.
