Description:
Markon is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Program Support Specialist to assist in data conditioning, data cleansing and PMO support for an Intelligence Customer.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate across the client's organization to ensure information sharing and interpret IT language for a wide audience.
- Provide basic data conditioning and cleansing of datasets while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data.
- Ensure tasks are completed within the deadlines and tasking guidance from the Sponsor is clear and unambiguous.
- Ensure project reporting on performance and status is complete and delivered per requirements and deadlines.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the Program Manager
- Provide technical guidance and advice regarding IT systems.
- Governance and control and implementing standards across the portfolio.
- Track, monitor, and update statuses on technology (e.g., cloud, AI/ML) services and architecture
- Support IT application of latest technology (e.g., multi-cloud, AI/ML, GenAI, LLM, HPC, etc.) , validity, applicability, and relevance.
- Maintaining a library of PMO documents and building a repository of project templates for both technical and management to support the project managers.
- Support portfolio, program, project-level business process analysis, mapping, improvements, reporting, market research, and internal outreach and communications.
- Translate business processes into workflows and dashboards.
- Update and keep current organizational IT lifecycle documentation and supporting materials pertaining to both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies – engaging in defining, developing, and keeping current Agile/SDLC engineering and architecture artifacts and standard, and providing oversight of Agile/SDLC reviews, including change management to ensure compliance with standards and required guidance.
- Support, update, and review IT technology roadmaps.
- Maintain the artifacts related to the process of providing guidance and expertise on applicability of industry standards and best practices such as ITIL, CMMI, SAFe, Agile, and DevSecOps, and other leading industry practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Tableau, The Panda, OpenRefine, Trifacta Wrangler, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to compose and edit written materials independently.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and effective communications using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Proficiency in standard office software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Salary Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
