The General Manager will work closely with the President to plan and support strategic growth by creating and enhancing our company vision for the regional business operations. This role will oversee all aspects of the company’s day-to-day business operations, collaborating with the service managers, and supporting departments.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. |
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, including technicians, customer service representatives, and administrative staff. Motivate and manage the department operations managers to drive results.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer complaints related to field operations are addressed immediately.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage to key financial objectives (gross margin, EBITDA, etc.), drive revenue. Strategically plan and justify capital expenditure needs for operation both replacement and for growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improve service offerings. Use KPIs as the measurement and continually review, with plan creation to drive to goals (KNOW the numbers).
  • Compliance: Assure adherence to federal, state, and local governmental laws and trade regulations.
  • Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies. Support sales efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • At least 15 years of residential/commercial service leadership overseeing technicians.
  • Experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and achieving key financial objectives (e.g., gross margin, EBITDA).
  • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and improve service offerings.
  • Successful history of building teams with direct responsibility for hiring/terminating employees.
