Porgram Director
New Beginnings Reentry Services (NBRS) Adult Reentry Day Center
Position Summary:
The Program Director will oversee and manage all programming and partnerships at New Beginnings Reentry Services (NBRS). This includes ensuring that each partnership is effectively coordinated, scheduled on the calendar, and remains on track.
The Program Director will be responsible for maintaining strong connections with partners, ensuring regular communication and follow-ups, and reporting progress to the Executive Director. The Director will also facilitate weekly meetings with key staff members, including the Resource Outreach Coordinator, Case Manager, SUD Counselor, and the Program Coordinator for the Leadership Academy, to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Program Oversight:
Oversee all programming at the Adult Reentry Day Center, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with the mission and goals of NBRS. Ensure that program services are continuously improving to meet client needs and community standards.
Partnership Management:
Maintain and manage all active partnerships and collaborations that NBRS has established with community organizations, service providers, businesses, and other key stakeholders. Ensure that each partnership is properly scheduled on the calendar, with regular check-ins and meetings to ensure ongoing collaboration.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Maintain and update the master schedule of all programming and partnership activities. Ensure that each program, event, or partnership meeting is scheduled and that stakeholders are notified in advance. Ensure that all deadlines, meetings, and events are tracked and on schedule.
Weekly Staff Meetings:
Organize and facilitate weekly team meetings with the Resource Outreach Coordinator, Case Manager, SUD Counselor, and Program Coordinator for the Leadership Academy. Ensure these meetings are productive, with clear agendas and actionable outcomes.
Monitor progress and resolve any challenges that arise in the delivery of services.
Executive Director Liaison:
Meet weekly with the Executive Director to provide updates on program status, partnership developments, challenges, and any other issues impacting service delivery. Report on the progress of ongoing partnerships and programming, and receive feedback or direction as necessary.
Maintain Communication with Partners:
Stay connected with external partners to ensure the continuity of services and that partnerships are meeting the expected outcomes. Regularly check in with key stakeholders to track progress, address any issues, and ensure alignment with NBRS goals.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Ensure that all programming activities, including partnerships and internal services, are tracked and monitored for effectiveness. Report to the Executive Director on the status of each program and partnership, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term goals.
Program Improvement & Adjustments:
Continuously assess the effectiveness of all programming and make adjustments as needed to ensure that client needs are being met. Seek feedback from staff and partners, and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, coordination, or administration, ideally in a social services, reentry, or justice-related environment.
o Experience working with diverse community organizations, service providers, and stakeholders.
Leadership & Communication: o Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and coordinate teams and external partnerships.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders effectively.Organizational Skills:
o Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, schedules, and partnerships simultaneously.
o Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
o Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, counselors, and external partners.
o Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: o Ability to identify issues and challenges in program delivery or partnerships, and effectively work to resolve them.
o Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Technical Proficiency:
o Proficiency in using scheduling, communication, and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, and other software for project tracking).
Accountability:
The Program Director will be accountable to the Executive Director for the success of all programming and partnerships at NBRS. This includes maintaining high-quality services, ensuring that all partnerships stay on track, and facilitating smooth communication between staff, partners, and the Executive Director.
