About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Human Resources Consultant to support our Lead Consultant in delivering various HR projects to our external clients. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources by working with a range of clients and tackling different challenges.

You’ll be involved in multiple projects that will rapidly build your expertise in HR best practices.

Requirements

A Typical Day May Include:

  • Researching employment laws and HR best practices to support projects
  • Preparing reports, memos, and other documents with findings for the Lead Consultant and clients
  • Recommending policies and activities to improve organizational culture, HR operations, or legal compliance
  • Suppoting HR projects, such as creating handbooks, developing job descriptions, conducting internal investigations, delivering training, and providing feedback
  • Assisting with recruitment, benefits enrollment, payroll processing, compensation reviews, and performance review processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We’re seeking a candidate with approximately 2 years of previous HR experience, particularly comfortable working on administrative and operational HR tasks. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Familiarity with key tools and software, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Workable, and ideally Rippling.
  • A high level of adaptability to handle changing tasks and priorities on a daily basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, essential for managing various projects and tasks.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating initiative and self-management.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with an eye for detail and presentation.
  • Flexibility in availability, as workload demands can fluctuate and sometimes require immediate attention.

The role does not require specific industry knowledge or certifications but does call for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to support a variety of HR projects.

Benefits

Payrate: $20-$25 per hour depending on experience
Location: Remote

Employment Type: Consultant/Contractor (Part-time, 15-20 hours/week)
