As a Data and Reporting Analyst Intern, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you.
The Data Analysts must be excellent communicators (both orally and written) and be able to effectively foster interactive collaboration and discussions with internal TrialCard teams. As a Data Analyst Intern, you are responsible for gaining a general understanding of the assigned program(s) and should understand report design and configuration, must be able to review and analyze data as well as present conclusions in a logical and clear manner, and must be able to effectively work as part of a team.
***Please note, this Internship will require the intern to reside within a commutable driving distance to our HQ office in Morrisville, North Carolina***.
Responsibilities:
- Manage requirements gathering, specifications development, and development of ad-hoc and standardized, production-level reports using Salesforce, Excel, and any other applicable software platform
- Build reports using templates, documents
- Track and manage assigned reports, both standard, custom
- Communicate with the Team Leadership on required deliverables, provide timelines and recommendations based on best practices, and prioritize work as necessary
- Routinely interact with the Data Team and suggest ways to support the team
- Develop new and innovative data, reporting and analytic products and services, as necessary
Qualifications:
- Rising Senior in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline.
- Solid technical writing skills: ability to clearly and completely articulate work to be done and describe tasks using proper terminology
- Experience interpreting data and presenting meaningful, client-ready business insights
- Demonstrated application of Analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and/or Access skills. (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Macros)
- Intermediate MS PowerPoint skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Windows
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise business intelligence solutions using Salesforce.com, Excel or similar highly desirable
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, direct marketing or finance highly desirable
- Ability to document and translate operational processes to technical requirements
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format
- Passion for process improvement
