Staff Accountant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant at Robert Half International, to join our team in Hartland, Wisconsin. The individual will handle a range of financial duties including preparing and maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and interacting with customers to solve their inquiries.

Tasks include:- Daily processing and verifying of sales orders for accuracy.
- Inputting and managing new job orders in the ERP system.
- Maintenance and management of accounts receivable records, including customer files and sales tax resale/exemption forms.
- Conducting credit checks on potential customers and overseeing their collections.
- Regular interaction with customers and colleagues to resolve issues and clear doubts.
- Bank account reconciliation, discrepancy resolution and needed corrections.
- Participating in month-end closing duties, such as account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and report preparation.
- Preparing monthly sales tax returns and job cost reports and hours.
- Special projects as directed by the controller.
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting principles and government regulations in financial data.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or similar position.
- Proficient understanding of accounting principles and financial software.
- Excellent attention to detail with superior accuracy in task execution.
- Outstanding ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exemplary customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to uphold detail oriented standards, remaining principled in sensitive and confidential matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
