Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support to the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
WORK LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, MAJOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried; Hybrid
RESPONSBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101
- Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
- Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
- Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
- Support Source Selections
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 5 of which must be in DoD
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Candidate will also need strong organizational skills.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must have an active US security clearance.
