We are looking for a Database Technician based in Spring Lake, Michigan. This role primarily involves managing and enhancing Access-based tickets and projects, contributing to the modernization of our ERP system, and swiftly responding to requests for analytics or development support.

In addition, you will also be responsible for optimizing computer usage efficiency and promptly addressing urgent database issues.

Responsibilities:

Execute updates and enhancements to Access-based tickets and projects
Assist in the development and training for the modernization of our ERP system
Respond promptly and accurately to requests for analytics or development support
Contribute to the IT Department Knowledge Base with articles on ticket resolutions, project updates, and procedural guides
Optimize computer usage efficiency at both company and individual levels
Address urgent database issues promptly, providing after-hours support when necessary
Manage a variety of help desk tasks and provide support for system maintenance
Serve as the resident database architect, identifying, managing, and executing large-scale database projects
Perform CRM data entry, maintenance, analytics, and development functions
Regularly complete weekly, monthly, and annual scheduled tasks to increase the effectiveness and profitability of the company. • Proficiency in creating dashboards for data visualization and management
Strong ability to perform data analysis and interpret results
Knowledge and experience with Visual Basic (VB) for application development
Expertise in using Microsoft Access for database management
Familiarity with MS SQL Server for managing relational databases
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for business process management
Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software for managing customer interactions
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis
