Responsibilities:
At ETS Schaefer, we have customers worldwide who come to us for our expertise in the refractory industry. Our sales team has a rare opening due to retirement for a Regional Sales Manager/Professional to cover the 5 state territory of TX, AL, LS, AR and MS.

The Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for uncovering, developing and maintaining relationship sales in our refractory ceramic fiber business. A sales engineer with the aptitude to solve problems and work with and develop customers ideal.
The role is a mix of 70% new business development and 30% existing customer base. This home based position ideally resides in Alabama, Arkansas, or other sales territory states. If you have multi-state territory management experience in the industrial sales space with a strong mechanical aptitude, this may be the opportunity you are looking for with ETS Schafer.

Qualifications:
Regional Sales Manager / Professional- 5 years outside industrial sales experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivated and managed with ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of computer software including Word, Excel, Database programs and Email programs
- BA or BS degree in Business or related – highly desired (HS/GED required)
- Knowledge and experience in the metals industry – highly desired
- Knowledge of applications for refractories, especially refractory ceramic fiber highly desired
