Logistics Coordinator

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for staff, volunteers, tenants, clients, and visitors, providing high-level customer service.
• Manage and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Maintain and implement basic safety and security procedures within the workplace.
• Efficiently sort and deliver mail and packages to staff and tenants.
• Troubleshoot issues with office equipment and follow up with service companies as required.
• Prepare parcels and packages for shipping and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory of supplies including ordering and delivery of paper, coffee, and other office supplies.
• Assist in event management by ordering supplies, assisting with catering, and other services as required.
• Ensure technology resources are available and functioning as required by the event.
• Handle administrative tasks associated with events such as contracts, billing, alcohol licenses, etc.
• Leverage skills in coordinating meetings, and proficiency in MS Outlook in daily tasks. • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and schedule meetings effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other MS Office Suite applications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed
• Experience in a logistics role is preferred but not a requirement
• Knowledge of logistics software or specific systems would be an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Experience in a customer service role or interacting with clients or customers regularly.
