Project Director - MidAmerica Division (On Site)

This role also involves some market expansion type projects. The Project Director will ensure the successful development and implementation of all project controls for projects and programs as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate project and program deliverables management process.
• Ensure compliance with project and program control minimum standards.
• Generate comprehensive program status reports.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of key special projects.
• Communicate actively and professionally with various stakeholders to manage multiple project Business Owners and team member relationships to accomplish project goals.
• Author and facilitate strategic initiatives, develop documentation such as project Charters, Education and Communication plans, detailed project plans, implementation toolkits and present program and project updates/presentations to Business Owners within assigned projects, programs or initiatives.
• Ensure that standard project controls are followed by both project and program management personnel.
• Identify and manage project and program-level risks and issues via documented project / program risk and issue processes.
• Manage the deliverables and change management processes for assigned programs and projects.
• Oversee other project management staff to assure quality of work and integration of team members’ work.
• Mentor staff in project management.
• Proven customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for different aspects of a project
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and report generation
• Strong planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards within the industry
• Experience in planning processes, with an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness
• Understanding of quality assurance principles and their application in a project setting
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) administration, including personnel management and team-building
• Proven ability to manage project schedules and meet deadlines
• Experience in project management, including the use of project management tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with audit processes and the ability to ensure project compliance with these processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, specifically in managing emails and appointments
• Experience in supervising teams, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ability to create and deliver presentations to stakeholders and team members
• Knowledge of the "About Time" management tool or similar software
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide team members towards project goals
• Experience in production management, with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses and generate reports as needed
• Proven ability to monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success
• Experience in project implementation, from conceptualization to completion
• Proven ability to improve productivity within a team or project setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on creating engaging and informative presentations
• Willingness to travel as needed for the project.
