We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be overseeing the human resources operations of a manufacturing facility. This is a contract to hire opportunity. The HR Manager will be handling employee relations, hiring processes, compliance, and other strategic HR-related duties in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the human resources department of the manufacturing facility
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive workplace environment
  • Lead the hiring processes, from job posting to onboarding
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA standards
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively relay information to employees and management
  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to align with business goals
  • Manage Workers Comp and FMLA processes to ensure employee wellbeing and compliance with legal requirements
  • Leverage experience in a manufacturing environment to address industry-specific HR challenges.
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related Field
  • SHRM certification preferred but not required
  • Must have previous experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of compliance regulations and laws related to HR functions is required
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
  • Familiarity with hiring processes, such as talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding, is essential
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable for understanding the unique HR needs of this sector
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and regulations is a must for ensuring workplace safety compliance.
