Job Description- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of audits for assigned areas of operations.
- Lead individuals in auditing the asset and investment management space.
- Identify and assess the impact of operational and strategic risks within the business units.
- Provide leadership and guidance to audit staff.
- Communicate audit findings to senior management and develop practical, cost-effective solutions to identified issues.
- Monitor the timely implementation of the management team's response to audit findings.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory and industry developments.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve internal controls and achieve common goals.
- Participate in special projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Internal Audit Director of Asset Management' should have:
- 8+ years of audit experience within the asset management space.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of asset management and financial services regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An estimated salary range of $200,000- $220,000 USD.
