Job Description
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of audits for assigned areas of operations.
  • Lead individuals in auditing the asset and investment management space.
  • Identify and assess the impact of operational and strategic risks within the business units.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to audit staff.
  • Communicate audit findings to senior management and develop practical, cost-effective solutions to identified issues.
  • Monitor the timely implementation of the management team's response to audit findings.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve internal controls and achieve common goals.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Internal Audit Director of Asset Management' should have:

  • 8+ years of audit experience within the asset management space.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management and financial services regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
