Junior Engineer at The Talbott Hotel - newly renovated Autograph Collection by Marriott
Job Summary:
The Junior Engineer provides trade support as assigned the Director of Engineering on property. This position will focus on preventative maintenance in guest rooms and junior engineering duties as assigned by senior engineer and Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspects and performs mechanical installation/maintenance/repair on systems as required.
- Troubleshoots and addresses repairs and maintenance.
- Orders and organizes parts supplies and equipment necessary to complete jobs effectively.
- Supports and assists Chief Engineer with estimating and invoicing.
- Documents the installation/maintenance/repairs performed and ensures accordance with procedure.
- Operates power tools and may use chemicals that require safety training.

Compensation Min: USD $16.33/Hr.
Compensation Mid: USD $20.42/Hr.
Compensation Max: USD $24.50/Hr.
