GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a hybrid Healthcare Analytics Architect in the Harrisburg, PA area.

Position Overview

As a Healthcare Analytics Architect, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the client’s programs, assisting in the collection, preparation, validation, and distribution of data, and ensuring that processes are streamlined for optimal efficiency.

You will take the lead in designing standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and tracking data requests, while supporting innovation to improve program outcomes and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine and document requirements for diagnosis-level reporting.
  • Continuously improve data reporting processes to meet quality standards.
  • Provide expertise in defining functional architecture and infrastructure, using LEAN principles.
  • Lead the oversight and tracking of data requests through the existing data governance structure.
  • Design SOPs and process flow diagrams to facilitate effective cross-training and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide succinct analysis, along with data charts and graphs, to inform decision-making.
  • Support special studies and research initiatives as requested by the client or other bureaus.
  • Innovate ways to use existing data to improve program outcomes and efficiencies, including predictive analytics and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with program and policy staff to ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Assist in the development and support of program performance monitoring.
  • Recommend specifications for new program performance measures.
  • Assist in the development of data dashboards and other visualizations to track key metrics.
  • Maintain project documentation, work plans, and other necessary records.
  • Create executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Provide additional support for projects as assigned by management.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates as requested by the Section Chief or higher-level management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with a health plan, pharmacy, or health tech environment.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations, including enrollment, claims, customer service, and appeals.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong applied analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and successfully complete assignments.
  • Ability to extract data from various data sources and warehouses.
  • Ability to create executive-level presentations.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare.

Preferred Experience:

Preferred Experience
  • Proficiency in SAS.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Healthcare Quality Measures, utilization studies, and healthcare analytics.
