Staff Automation Engineer
About the Team:
VIZIO’s Technology – Software and Services team is seeking a QA project manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work together within the team and contribute to innovate VIZIO products.
What You Will Do:
- Script UI and API test cases for TV automation using Java and Javascript.
- Use different automation tools to design, test and deploy automation solutions.
- Build logic based on automation approach.
- Debug and troubleshoot script and functional issues and provide solutions.
- Execution of Automation tests and analysis – identify script and functional issues
- Coordination and technical discussions with development team.
- Code reviews and implementing review comments.
- Provide automation solutions in resolving technical challenges
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent
- 7-10 years of Automation experience.
- Hands on in API Testing and Automation using Postman & Rest Assured Java.
- Experience in Web and Mobile Automation using Selenium Web driver.
- Experience in TV UI automation (preferred).
- Proficient configuration management tools such as GIT, Git Hub, and Git Bash.
- Experience in Automation frameworks like BDD Cucumber, Page object model & Data driven.
- Experience on programming languages like Java, Javascrip and unit testing frameworks like TestNG
- Good exposure to development and build tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA and Maven
- Experience in setting up the CI/CD Process using Jenkins.
- Experience with Bug & Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Test Rails.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
